Our Approach

The CONATURE Project

Conscious Use of Natural Resources - CONATURE Project  will develop innovative tools, using digital technologies, that enable the participants to acquire vocational skills and competences in the field of Environment & Organic Farming. Within the project implementation other objectives will be achieved, such as enhancement of intergenerational education, voluntarism, social cohesion, in/direct nature protection, preservation of Cultural Heritage interpretation, promotion of EU citizenship and values.

Each of the world historic period introduces different values, attitudes and perspectives. Pre-communist area was characterized by the extensive agricultural and forest management when acquiring vocational skills and competences belonged to the obvious and self-acting processes how to naturally master working activity. Humans esteemed local or regional natural resources as the most valuable and life-giving. The knowledge management was transferred to the descendants within the direct face-to-face working processes, who were later forced to leave the vocational development within oncoming historic periods, such as communism or global economy market trend pressures that caused irreparable harms to allow the vocations to have vanished.

Objectives and Goals

The project objectives are:

- Development of innovative outputs in the Cultural heritage interpretation (CHI) including digital technologies,
- To disseminate the outputs within proper programmes and tools on the regional, national and international level
- To acquire vocational skills and competences in the field of Environment & Organic Farming
- Exchange of innovative practices in the field of Environment & Organic Farming,
- Design innovative materials and training programs
- Promote intergenerational education in CHI based on the methods and techniques of knowledge management
- Enhance and develop social cohesion
- Enhance and develop voluntarism, social cohesion, in/direct nature protection, preservation of Cultural Heritage Interpretation
- Promote EU Citizenship and values

Project Outputs

IO1: Methodology on Cultural Heritage Interpretation
The aim of the output is to support the trainers and the learners with the methodology on the Cultural heritage interpretation (CHI) that address environmental, economic and social sustainability on-farm processes and results in safe and quality food and non-food of organic farming products. The creation of output is directed to small-scale environment &organic farming conditions.
Creating of the output is based on the active and practical methods of experiential pedagogy using forms of practical lessons, training seminars in a terrain, case studies, labs and innovative tools of digital technology.
The output consists of 2 process stages:
1. Creation of the curricula composing of 2 parts: instructions, procedures for staff trainers and materials for learners. The curricula will be available on-line (e-learning courses, webinars, Edu-blog).
2. Piloting proofreading and verification within training programs consisting of on-line tools of 1st process stage and face-to-face learning to validate the outcomes.
Within the process there are measured the impacts, identified opportunities for further development to achieve the most effective results.

- Creation of a curricula for e-learning platform
- E-learning platform Moodle
- 2 themed webinars
- 2 themed Edu-blogs including audio-video footages and forum

IO2: Training program on Environment & Organic Farming
Individual training program consisting of three thematically focused modules that are to be implemented independently.
The training program combines 4 stages:

a) training classes consisted of practical theories
b) e-learning education being developed in output1 (distance learning)
c) practical activity demonstrations to proofread and verify the knowledge, skills
d) final test consisting of practical activities

During the training programs the results of the blended mobility after coming back are fostered with the use of virtual learning. As the project is mainly on the practical knowledge transfer concerning the vocational skill in the field of Environment & Organic Farming it isl be very significant to deeply verify the acquired skills in their partner´s organizations within the climate conditions of their region. The aim of the training program is to support the learners with the methodology of output 1.

IO3: Training manual on Environment & Organic Farming
The aim of the output is to publish training manual, on-line and paper brochure, that includes the best practices, practical activities, up-to- date facts on the output topic in order to acquaint the learners, descendants and other relevant stakeholders with the best what might be implemented on the local/regional/national level. Training manual will also serve as resource material of the activities on the Environment & Organic Farming.
Training manual serves for trainers, lecturers including worksheets for learners.
Training manual is based on the methods of experiential pedagogy and contains such methods and approaches that are optimal for the target group.
Inseparable part of the training manual is innovative activities accompanied with digital images, illustrations, photos, graphic design which are added by the partners related to the materials. Training manual is available on-line and published in English and the languages of the partners.

IO4: Net on Farmer´s Environment & Organic Farming Activities
The aim of the output is to launch a web application which enables to set-up database of the final users, i.e. all oncoming learners, trainers, relevant stakeholders, to find the environment and organic farming activities available on the national level of each partner country. There will be created a net of farmers who need to be supported with seasonal helps, such as planting vegetables, harvesting vegetables and fruit including processing and preserving, making hay, fertilization, preparatory works for seasons, cutting sheep, poultry picking, beekeeping, etc.

The organization supports the enlightenment of sustainable development principles and commitment, and in this respect implements vocational lectures, seminars and workshops for all age categories of adult learners including trainers, lecturers, seniors, public.

VšĮ Žmogiškųjų išteklių stebėsenos ir plėtros biuras (ŽISPB) is a non-governmental non-profit organization with 12 permanent staff members and great number of volunteers who help organizing activities implemented by the organisation.
The Centre develops and implements various projects, initiatives and interventions at both national-local and transnational level, in collaboration with formal and non-formal adult education providers, training centres, schools, public bodies, research centres, NGOs, social cooperatives, SMEs, business associations, etc.

Comune Di Scandiano was founded in 1262 by Giberto Fogliani. Scandiano is one of the most populated Municipalities of Reggio Emilia Province, Emilia Romagna Region. It cover a total area of 50 km with a population of more than 25.000 inhabitants but it is also one of its most important economic centres. Its historical and artistic heritage marks this “small capital city” as one of the most interesting towns of the whole region.
